Meet the cast of Macbeth, coming from four countries and spanning 14 time zones.  Macbeth performs for one more weekend on August 27, 28 at 8pm PDT, August 29 at 5pm PDT, and August 30 at 2pm PDT  - Free, Live, and on the Web. 

 

Nick Medina (MACBETH) OR, US - Nick Medina is an award-winning actor, educator, and benefit auctioneer from California. His work as a performer has from the jungles of the Philippines to the ballrooms of Silicon Valley. A former artistic company member of Berkeley’s Shotgun Players, Nick starred in their twelve-hour production of The Coast of Utopia as well as Hamlet Roulette where he played all characters in a random rotation. A core collaborator with SF's We Players, Nick has written Shakespearean adaptations for the site-specific company. Most recently, he played multiple characters in repertory with Portland's Milagro Theater company.

Ash Reddington (LADY MACBETH) NY, US - Ash studied Shakespeare at Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Stage credits include Madame Ranevskey (Cherry Orchard), Hilda Moriarty (Kavanagh touring with London Irish theatre) and Hero in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. Ash has also appeared on screen in various film and television roles as well as commercials. She currently resides in New York, working as an actress and writer bilocally in both the United States and Europe. Ash Reddington 400x600 

Jill K. Wagoner (BANQUO, LORD) CA, US - Jill has appeared on many Bay Area stages including Dreamweavers Theatre, Nicholson Ranch Players, Festival Opera, Verismo Opera, Hoochi-Doo Productions, Sonoma StageWorks, Silver Moon Theatre, Sonoma Arts Live, Spreckels Performing Arts Center, 6th Street Playhouse, Ross Valley Players, and Lucky Penny Productions. Recent theatrical roles include Felicia Dantine (I Hate Hamlet), Miss Andrew (Mary Poppins), Margaret White (Carrie), (Love, Loss and What I Wore), Fay Templeton (George M!), Snout/Wall (Fairyworlds!), M’Lynn Eatenton (Steel Magnolias), First Actress (The Dining Room), Chairman/Sapsea (The Mystery of Edwin Drood).

Jourdán Olivier-Verdé (MACDUFF, MURDERER) CA US - Jourdàn Olivier-Verdé- is very excited to make his Zoom Theatre Debut! Recent roles include: Delray in Memphis, Bottom in ( SFBATCC Nominated ) A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird, Antipholus in A Comedy of Errors, Oberon/Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Violet, Scrooge in Love! U/S Macbeth. Training: Howard University, PGCC, American Academy of Dramatic Arts - NY, and International Academy of Film and Television LA Hallam Award Recipient: Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play- Walter Lee in A Raisin in the Sun. Danny Adams (MALCOLM, MURDERER) MN, US - Danny is pumped to be making his debut with Zoom Theatre as Malcom/First Murderer! Regional: Rocky Mountain Rep, Texas Shakespeare Festival, Palace Theatre, Peterborough Players. B.F.A in Music Theatre with Honors from Illinois Wesleyan University. Larry Williams (DUNCAN, DOCTOR) CA, US - Larry is excited to be joining this excellent worldwide cast in his first Zoom Theater production. The challenges are unique in trying to tell the story as a group while working in a room alone and the additional challenge of Shakespeare's language and storytelling. How could you pass up an adventure such as that? Larry was last seen as Judge Turpin in Pat Nims’ excellent production of Sweeny Todd at 6th Street Playhouse.

Eliza Pagel

(LENNOX, LADY MACDUFF) SC, US - Eliza Pagel is delighted to be making her Zoom Theatre debut in Macbeth. Eliza, a New York-based actor and musician from Greenville, South Carolina, currently attends Fordham University Lincoln Center where she is pursuing a degree in Acting and Music Performance. Proud graduate of Fine Arts Center Theatre and the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities Drama program. Recent credits include The Seagull (Nina), Richard III (Queen Elizabeth), Into the Woods (The Witch), A View from the Bridge (Catherine), and Twelfth Night (Feste/Fabian). Thanks, thanks, and ever thanks to Pat and the whole Mackers cast and crew for the opportunity, Mom and Dad, Mr. T, and Lando my love.

David Farmer (ROSS, THE PORTER) Vic AU - David Farmer is a Scottish Australian actor and sometimes comedian. His credits include theatrical roles with the Tron Theatre and Dundee Rep (UK) (‘Sea Urchins’), television roles with STV (UK) and appearances as himself at the Melbourne International comedy festival (‘Why You’re Not Dead Yet’ 2018, 2019). He has undertaken training with Brave Studios and Impro Melbourne (Melbourne), as well as with the Citizen’s Theatre and Scottish Youth Theatre (Glasgow). David is a former scientist and a skilled guitar player who has lived all over the world. He currently resides in Melbourne, Australia with his spouse and two cats. David Farmer Headshot 400x600 

Georgan George (WITCH, GENTLEWOMAN) CA, US - Theatre Credits: Queen Elizabeth in The Dark Lady of the Sonnets (West Valley Playhouse), Edith Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank (Bridgeway Theatre Company), Elmire in Tartuffe (SC Shakespeare Fest), Mother in Pinter's A Night Out (Hollywood Fringe), Queen Margaret in Richard III (Theatre Anon). Since quarantine, she has played roles in several virtual productions including Tamora in Titus Andronicus (SoS Theatrefest), The Zoom Plays series (WvP) and Paulina in The Winter's Tale (Virtual Shakespeare Co). Georgan has a Bachelor of Theatre degree in Acting performance from Willamette University and is a trained mezzo-soprano. Thank you to all for this opportunity.

Debra Nguyen (WITCH, SEYTON) –NY, US - Debra Nguyen is based in Brooklyn, NY and this is her first show with Zoom Theatre. She has worked with Wombat Theatre Co. in NYC as both crew and cast for various productions. Some of which include Hamlet, Death of an Anarchist, Anitgone, and most recently, A More (Un)Perfect Union. She has studied under Patrick Quagliano at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC. Gloria Huang (WITCH, DONALBAIN, FLEANCE, CHILD) BC, CA - Gloria is thrilled to be a part of Zoom Theatre’s Macbeth! Born in Vancouver Canada, Gloria lived in Guangzhou China since the age of 5. A pianist since she was 3 years old, Gloria almost became a Piano Performance major. Gloria is a recent graduate from NYU Tisch Drama Atlantic Acting School and also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London. She was previously seen in Fleeing Artists Theatre’s “Much Ado About Nothing” as Hero, and her other credits include: Hamlet (Ophelia), Pygmalion (Eliza Doolittle), Staged Reading of “The Beer Play” by Lauren Yee (Kimiko), Stupid F*cking Bird (Mash) and Coriolanus (Brutus).
